Scope
Your Quick Fix covers the single Shopify issue described in your enquiry and invoice.
Anything outside that scope — including new issues, additional features, redesigns or deeper
investigation — may require a separate fixed price.
Review and invoice
I will review your enquiry and, if it is suitable for Quick Fix, send you a fixed-price invoice within
24 hours. There is no obligation to proceed.
Payment and booking
Payment is required upfront. Payment of the invoice confirms your booking and authorises me to begin
the agreed work. Work will only start once payment and any required collaborator access are in place.
Delivery
Most Quick Fixes are completed within 1–2 working days after payment and access are received.
Turnaround may be affected by Shopify, third-party apps, access delays or issues outside my control.
Your responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, suitable Shopify collaborator access where needed, and
reasonable responses to questions needed to complete the work. Never send passwords, two-factor
authentication codes, API keys or other account secrets.
Third-party systems
Shopify, themes, apps and other third-party services may contain defects, limitations or changes
outside my control. I am not responsible for faults caused by third-party software or for future
changes made by Shopify, apps or other developers.
Testing and defects
I will carry out the agreed work with reasonable care and skill and test the fix where reasonably
possible. If you believe there is a problem directly caused by my work, please tell me within 7 days
of completion with enough information to reproduce it. New requirements or unrelated issues are
treated as new work.
Intellectual property
Once payment has been received in full, you may use the code and changes created specifically for your
store. I retain ownership of pre-existing or reusable code, tools, libraries, techniques and know-how.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability relating to a Quick Fix is limited to the
amount you paid for that Quick Fix. I am not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit or revenue, or
losses caused by Shopify or other third-party systems. Nothing in these terms limits liability that
cannot legally be limited.
Privacy and confidentiality
Only share information reasonably required to assess and complete the work. Remove customer or other
sensitive information from screenshots and recordings where possible. I will keep non-public
information you provide confidential, except where disclosure is required by law.
Business customers
Quick Fix is provided to businesses and individuals acting for purposes relating to their trade,
business or profession.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have
exclusive jurisdiction.
Agreement
By paying the fixed-price invoice, you confirm that you accept the scope described in the invoice and
agree to these Quick Fix Terms.
Information and privacy: You will only share information needed to assess and carry
out the Quick Fix. Remove customer data and other sensitive information from screenshots, recordings,
and messages wherever possible.
Third-party systems: Shopify, themes, apps, and other services can change or impose
limits outside my control. I will explain any material dependency or limitation I find during review.
Good-faith delivery: I will carry out the agreed work with reasonable care and skill,
but cannot guarantee a particular commercial result, conversion rate, or continued compatibility after
third-party changes.
