Terms and Conditions - Quick Fix and Small Tweaks Shopify Service

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") apply to the Quick Fix and Small Tweaks service ("Service") provided by Emma Dolan. By purchasing this service, you ("Customer") agree to abide by the terms outlined below.

2. Scope of Service

The Service covers small bug fixes, minor tweaks, and adjustments to your Shopify store as defined below:

  • Quick Fix: A minor issue or bug that can be resolved with minimal effort (e.g., fixing broken links, adjusting CSS, or correcting small design errors).

  • Small Tweak: A minor change or adjustment to the existing functionality or appearance of your store (e.g., updating button styles, changing text, or adjusting the layout of a page).

Please note that complex issues, including but not limited to, custom app development, major design overhauls, or large-scale functionality changes, are not covered under this service.

3. Pricing and Payment

The price for each bug fix or small tweak is £50, which covers one issue or request per purchase. Additional fixes or tweaks may require separate purchases. Payments are due in full before work begins.

4. Information Required from Customer

To begin the Service, you must:

  • Provide clear details about the issue or request.
  • Grant access to your Shopify store (if required for troubleshooting or implementation).
  • If applicable, upload any necessary images or files to assist in resolving the issue.

5. Delivery Timeframe

I aim to complete all quick fixes and small tweaks within 2 business days of receiving all necessary information from the Customer. However, some fixes may require additional time if the issue is more complex than initially anticipated.

6. Service Limitations

The Service covers only minor issues as described above. Larger-scale projects or requests, such as:

  • Full website redesigns
  • Custom app development
  • Complex coding tasks
  • Major troubleshooting

... are not included and will require a separate agreement and pricing.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

Due to the nature of the service, all sales are final. If the issue has not been resolved within the agreed-upon timeframe, you may request a partial refund based on the work completed. Please contact me within 7 days of purchase to discuss any concerns.

8. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about the issue.
  • Ensure that your store is accessible and grant me appropriate access to complete the fix.
  • Understand that delays in providing necessary information may delay the service.

9. Ownership of Work

All custom code or solutions created as part of this service remain the intellectual property of Emma Dolan unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

10. Privacy Policy

I respect your privacy. Any personal information or data you provide, including login details and store access, will be handled according to my Privacy Policy. By purchasing this service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in my privacy policy.

11. Liability Disclaimer

While I aim to provide quality fixes, I do not assume responsibility for any issues that arise from the implementation of the fixes, especially if the issue was outside the scope of the service. My liability is limited to the refund of the service fee in case of incomplete or unsatisfactory work.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to Terms

I reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the revised terms will take effect immediately.
